Track Notices for VDM Weekend
1. Declarations close at 12.30pm on Saturday 12th & at 13.00pm on Sunday 13th.
2. All competing horses must be on the track at 1.30pm on Saturday & 14.00pm on Sunday. Should any trainer not abide by this track rule, the stewards of the track may not allow the horse to run in its race.
3. Pre-race & Post-race testing will take place over the two days. As a result, there will be a strict warm up regime in place. No horse will be permitted to enter the track, unless they have been given clearance by the paddock stewards. The warm up times are also indicated on each race card in the programme.
Warm up times for Saturday is as follows:
Horses in: Race 1,2,3…………………. Warm up between 12.15 -13.15

4. No White Whips are allowed during racing.
5. The gate positions are printed on the card. If a horse is withdrawn, horses will move up to fill the gate positions where possible. The maximum number of horses on the gate is 5, when there are 9+ horses within the same grade or 4 when there is less than 8 or 5 when there is only 5 horses racing.
6. Notice to visiting drivers: The IHRA have changed their whipping rules compared to the BHRC. The main difference between to the two organisations is that a driver can only hit his/her horse 7 times during a race. Any driver found in breach of this will be fined.
7. With the volume of races over the weekend, the management of the track would advise all trainers to cooperate with the paddock stewards at all times.
